Free From All The Chaos/Number Three limited edition clear vinyl single

The first stand-alone vinyl single to be released by The Durutti Column this century will be released on 4 August 2020 (Vini Reilly's birthday).

'Free From All The Chaos', was originally on the CD release 'Chronicle' and is presented with the unreleased track 'Number Three', from the same sessions. This release also features the voice of singer/songwriter Caoilfhionn Rose, a collaborator with the band over the past five years.

This single is a limited edition of 750 copies on crystal clear vinyl and comes in a sleeve designed by Trevor Johnson.

Watch this space for a series of releases originally on the Kooky imprint which will be re-issued for the first time on vinyl, including the very limited Chronicle, which was commissioned from Vini Reilly as an autobiographical project concluding with a series of live shows. It will be released for the first time in vinyl format later this year.

A Factory Assembly for Electronic Sound

Issue 54 of Electronic Sound magazine is a Factory Records special and there's a special double seven-inch single, 'A Factory Assembly' in homage to the original FAC 2 A Factory Sample with certain copies. The Durutti Column contributes 'Lips That Would Kiss (Form Prayers to Broken Stone)' alongside prime cuts from A Certain Ratio, Minny Pops and Section 25. The bundle is sold out online but copies with the single may still be available from certain stockists.
