New official Durutti Column merchandise will be available very soon via the new DURUTTI website at durutti.co.uk.

Initial offerings include a t-shirt, mug and tote bag. Later, recorded material and other goodies will be on offer. Whilst everything is finalised you may sign up to a mailing list.

Phil 'Kooky' Cleaver* (who is the driving force behind the initiative) explains the philisophy behind the initiative: "It is primarily a label and a shop which is owned by the band to promote and sell their own goods. I am Phil and will be supporting the band in this venture. We are often asked what is the best way to support the band and this is certainly a great way as this is all theirs; I will run the business element for a small cost and most the profit goes to the band. We have less middle men. Sales through the distributor to shops will be paid directly to the band for all new releases on the label."
