The Return of the Durutti Column [FBN 114]

'The Return of the Durutti Column' is out now in a very special new Factory Benelux edition on 12" vinyl in a special sleeve with a die-cut card and glasspaper sleeve based on Peter Saville's early Factory Records logo design. The back cover features period photographs by Daniel Meadows. The inner sleeve features a coloured version of the Factory logo. The original Hannett 'Test Card' which was a flexi-disc in the original sandpaper sleeve version has been converted to a regular hard black vinyl 7" single bringing a much higher standard of sound quality.

There are two bonus tracks on side two of the LP - 'Madeleine' and 'Lips That Would Kiss' - which were previously released as a Factory Benelux single in 1980.

The liner notes feature quotes from Vini Reilly, Martin Hannett, Tony Wilson, Peter Saville, Daniel Meadows, John Brierley, Bruce Mitchell and members of Joy Division.
